D-Link and Tomizone have announced that Tomizone has joined D-Link's Global Alliance Program (GAP) for Solution Partner to integrate Tomizone's Wi-Fi hotspot software into select D-Link router models.
Users in India with Tomizone enabled D-Link routers can secure a broadband connection for Wi-Fi Hotspot sharing to provide paid Internet access to anyone. This means that creating a Wi-Fi Hotspot for anyone with intention to monetise broadband is simple with Tomizone's self-activation process. This solution also complies with the local Indian regulatory norms.

The Solution Partner Global Alliance Agreement between D-Link and Tomizone not only cements a close working relationship that has been on-going over the past two years and now both parties will introduce the Tomizone product into new markets which also enables D-Link to deliver hotspot service to provide greater benefits to more customers.
With the integration of Tomizone's software in D-Link's select routers, customers can now choose to enable the service function for setting up their own Wi-Fi hotspots to offer Internet access services to friends or public users. The Tomizone software billing platform will enable the collection of necessary data to bill users, govern usage, and manage all billing processes through Tomizone on behalf of the hotspot owner. This collaborative effort will also help customers reap greater benefits using D-Link Routers and will at the same time provide potential increased business opportunities for D-Link to win more projects.
India with only few thousand public hotspots has a great potential to leverage from this unique Wi-Fi solution offered by D-Link and Tomizone. One of the unique features offers roaming between any Tomizone Hotspot and with this, owners of large chain stores for example, could earn additional revenues.
