Free unlimited WiFi for everyone has now ended on the London Underground after the network was first rolled out on the Tube for the London 2012 Olympics.
However, Virgin Media, Vodafone, T-Mobile and Orange customers can stay connected at no extra cost thanks to wholesale agreements between network owner Virgin and those operators announced in November.
Customers on the Three and O2 networks will have to buy access to get unlimited use on the WiFi network. All Tube passengers will continue to have free access to Virgin Media's WiFi portal, with up-to-the-minute Transport for London travel updates and London entertainment and news.
Virgin said another 11 stations were being connected to the Tube WiFi network this week, including Hampstead, Tooting Broadway and Great Portland Street, joining the 92 stations already WiFi enabled.
Virgin says a total of around 120 stations are due to be connected by the end of March.
The service doesn't work in tunnels, just ticket halls, escalators, platforms and on trains while at platforms.
