Alan Robinson is to lead Novell in Australia and New Zealand, replacing Rob Mills who resigned four months ago.
The Australian reports Robinson was previously the Australian boss of database company Informix in Australia. Before that he was with Oracle in various roles.
Maarten Koster, Novell's Asia-Pacific president, has been acting in Mills' role while a replacement was recruited. Robinson will now report to him.
