Update 4:14pm:
2degrees customers can now register their interest in the Galaxy S III on the telco's website.
The company touts the device's "truly beautiful" 4.8-inch screen "and nature-inspired" design.
Original story:
Pre-orders for Samsung's new flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S III, have opened today on Telecom's website.
However, it appears that customers can currently only pre-order if they want to sign up for one of the company's 24-month postpaid plans.
The RRP of the Galaxy S III is $1049. Customers can get it for free on a $120/month, 24-month plan.
Telecom chief marketing officer Jason Paris said the Galaxy S II was well-received on Telecom in 2011.
"The S III’s new features like instantly capturing and sharing photos and videos using face and motion recognition makes it another brilliant addition for Telecom," he said.
