Unisys’ Kapiti datacentre experienced an outage yesterday morning.
According to a statement from Unisys, "large fluctuations in the mains power supply at Unisys' Kapiti datacentre required a cut over to back-up generator power for the datacentre.
"This resulted in the datacentre experiencing a power outage for a few minutes.
"The datacentre systems are now back online and the mains power supply has been restored."
Unisys' focus now is bringing the equipment back online to return services to clients, the statement says.
