TUANZ Innovation Awards winners

M-Com takes top prize at ceremony last night

Mobile banking and payment services company M-Com won the top award at last night’s TUANZ Innovation Awards.

M-Com, whose banking, mobile proximity payment and mobile money transfer solutions have been sold to more than 180 banks in the world, was awarded the TUANZ Telecommunications Innovation Award and the TUANZ Initiative of the Year Award.

Gen-i also featured prominently, winning the TUANZ Healthcare Award with Alcatel-Lucent and the Auckland District Health Board. Gen-i CEO Chris Quin was given the Chairman’s Award.
