Judges to meet again to decide final placings

The judges of Launch Pad 2010, an investment competition that featured as part of the Planet 2010 expo in Auckland over the weekend, have named three innovative companies winners in the pitch contest.

However, the panel could not initially agree on the order of the winners and will meet again to order them into first, second and third place.

The three are Dazzle Tickets, Lifetime Health Diary and Speechschool.TV. There were six companies pitching at the event.

Planet 2010 was organised by the Telecommunications Industry Group (TIG) which aims to raise awareness of the contribution telecommunications makes to the economy.

TIG CEO Rob Spray says an event at the end of the month will be organisaed to present the three winners and judges to the media.

Dazzle Tickets sells tickets to events online, Lifetime Health Diary has developed a lifetime health an medical record system and SpeechSchool.TV offers online voice and speech coaching.
