Asian telecoms company Pacnet is coy about whether it is interested in buying Telecom's Australian business AAPT.
Responding to questions from BusinessDay.co.nz, including whether it had approached Telecom with an offer for AAPT, Pacnet said:
"Pacnet has an aggressive growth strategy and will continue to explore various opportunities around the region to further strengthen our corporate portfolio," an email attributed to Pacnet communications said.
"Any strategic partnerships/acquisitions will be announced at an appropriate time," the company added.
