Endace forecasts 37 percent rise in revenue

Company expects to post half-year profit of around US$200,000

In a performance update statement, Endace reports revenues for its September 30 half-year are expected to be around $US18.6 million, an increase of 37 percent over the comparable period last year.

The company expects to report a profit before tax, adjusted for share option costs, of around $US200,000 compared with a loss of $US1.3 million in the previous corresponding period.

The half-yearly results will be announced formally on November 1.

In the financial year to March 31, 2011, Endace posted revenue of $US38.4 million and before-tax profit of $US2.9 million.

As at September 30, 2011, the company had cash balances of $US2.6 million.

Endace, which is headquartered in Auckland and is a spin-off from Waikato University, specialises in network traffic monitoring.
