Alcatel-Lucent has appointed Andrew Miller, who previously held the role of strategic deals director at Alcatel-Lucent, as New Zealand country manager.
He replaces Jyoti Mahurkar-Thombre, who has held the role since 2010. Mahurkar-Thombre has been promoted to president of delivery for the Asia-Pacific region.
She was appointed in February 2010 after Steve Lowe, who headed Alcatel-Lucent in New Zealand from 2008 to 2010, departed shortly after the series of outages on Telecom's XT network, which was built by Alcatel-Lucent.
