Telecom merges Gen-i, Computerland sales roles

It's all coming together

As signalled by Telecom earlier this year, the sales staff of Gen-i and Computerland are to work under the leadership of a single head of sales.

Former Gen-i Australia head John Bessey has been appointed head of sales for the two organisations, both of which Telecom acquired last year.

In April, Telecom CIO Mark Ratcliffe told Computerworld there would be some adjustment in terms of the sales force of Gen-i and Computerland.

Telecom has made two other appointments for the combined sales force; they are David Ferkatovich, formerly Computerland's sales manager, who is now sales manager for Gen-i and Computerland Christchurch; and Paul Wilson, formerly Gen-i's Wellington sales manager, who is now sales manager for Gen-i and Computerland Wellington.
