Air NZ implementation acknowledged

Makes finals of US awards

Air New Zealand's PeopleSoft implementation has been recognised in the US at the 2004 Global Computerworld Honours Awards, held in Washington DC on June 7.

It was the only New Zealand project to make the finals of the awards and was one of 56 projects from around the world recognised at the awards.

The awards are held annually and judging criteria include whether the project has contributed significantly to the improvement of society.

Air New Zealand's implementation involves PeopleSoft's Enterprise Financials, Procurement and Route Profitability modules and is the biggest PeopleSoft project in the country.
