A high-performance journalling file system, XFS, lots of contributions to the Linux kernel development and the OpenGL 3D toolkit bear witness of SGI’s firm commitment to open source.

The hardware giant is shipping a range of Linux-based systems, plus supports a raft of open-source software development projects.
Dell
Being one of Microsoft’s largest partners hasn’t stopped Dell from shipping Linux on servers and desktops.
