Dear What Am I Worth,

I am currently employed as a IT operations consultant in a large insurance company located in Wellington. I provide first and some second level user and system support for 1300+ users on a variety of platforms including - W2K, NT, Citrix and Unix. I am also responsible for approximately 80 remote laptop users using dial in access. I have been doing this for 18 months.

As for qualifications, I have a certificate in computing and MCP W2K Professional. I am 30-years-old and have previous experience as a telecommunications technician.

IT@Work Recruitment replies: You haven't mentioned the size of the team providing support for 1300 users, and whether there is a lot of out of hours requirement with the role. Assuming you are part of a team, and taking into account your qualifications, we would suggest a package in the range of $43,000 to $55,000 depending upon commitment time-wise to the role.
