The field of potential candidates for the position of telecommunications commissioner has been narrowed down to a short list, says Lilias Bell, principal of Bell McCaw Bampfylde, the recruitment agency charged with finding the right person for the job.
“The interview process will take place towards the end of this month and early next month.”
She wouldn’t say how many candidates had made the list, “but the process is goingwell”.
The appointment cannot be made until the Telecommunications Bill, presently before Parliament, is passed, which is likely to be October at the earliest.
