How useful is my programming course?

I am about to start a course on advanced programming and analysis - how far will this take me in the industry

Dear Career Adviser,

I am about to start a course on advanced programming and analysis, covering Pascal, VB, Delphi, Jade and C++; exploring RAD, entity relationships, data analysis and UML; and building case studies of commercial applications such as inventory, payroll/human resources, invoicing and share register. How far will this take me in the industry?

Taking aim

Pinnacle Recruitment replies: It sounds like a reasonable course. I particularly like the Jade aspect, as Jade is becoming more and more popular as a development tool.

Does the course give you a qualification, certificate or diploma that is recognised by NZQA? If so, then it is worth doing, and with some business experience you should have very satisfactory career prospects.
