Inland Revenue selects Kiwi firm as preferred testing services provider

The agreement was signed on 5 December and is valid for an initial term of three years.

Inland Revenue has appointed Assurity Consulting Limited as the preferred testing services provider under the Government Electronic Tender Service Agreement.

“We’re pleased to have selected a New Zealand IT company with the right skills and experience to be a part of keeping our core systems safe, secure and reliable,” Inland Revenue's CTO Myles Ward said.

“The agreement was signed on 5 December and is valid for an initial term of three years. It is part of our on-going commitment to transformation."

Assurity Consulting Limited will work alongside what Inland Revenue already provides internally, and will support testing demand for projects and business-as-usual work programmes.

“Assurity was selected based on the total service they offer and also their experience, knowledge of our testing practice, and their ability to provide these services within a specified budget.

“This is an opportunity for a New Zealand service provider who has the right skills and experience to help us as we build and deliver a tax system for the future.

“This is the first of a wide variety of opportunities for New Zealand companies over the coming months and years as our transformation journey continues," Ward said.
