Skinny mobile to get new GM in January

Ross Parker, who has 13 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, will take over from Paul Taylor, who recently decided to pursue other opportunities.

Starting January 2014, Ross Parker will take over as GM of Skinny, Telecom’s mobile prepaid businesses targeting price sensitive consumers.

Parker joins Skinny from Vodafone Australia where he was the Executive GM for prepay and, prior to that, the GM for pricing, devices and inventory.

Parker, who has 13 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, will take over from Paul Taylor, who recently decided to pursue other opportunities after leading Skinny through a period of change

Skinny will continue to operate as part of Telecom Digital Ventures, the Telecom digital services and innovation unit.
