Fronde gets new NZ country manager, establishes executive leadership team

The company has also appointed a director of HR. Both new appointments will be part of the firm's executive leadership team.

Fronde has appointed Gary Woodham to the newly created role of country manager New Zealand.

In the role, Woodham will be responsible for helping the company build on local success in delivering solutions and services to businesses.

Woodham’s experience in the industry inclues being Asia Pacific GM for EDS and CEO of Datam, a large NZ Post subsidiary, where he brought together six businesses under a single brand. Most recently, Woodham was chief customer officer across the NZ Post Group where he led the customer solutions and services division.

The company has also appointed Jan Mottram, to the executive-level role of director of HR. Mottram has 20 years’ experience with Vodafone in senior HR roles and was most recently HR director for Vodafone Qatar.

Mottram will be responsible for developing and implementing Fronde’s people strategy to support the business goals.

“We have attracted two extremely high calibre business people in Gary and Jan. They bring experience and success that will greatly benefit the company and our clients. They also create significant extra capacity in our company leadership, a fundamental reason for putting in place an Executive Leadership Team (ELT)," said Fronde CEO Ian Clarke.

Both Woodham and Mottram will report to Fronde CEO Ian Clarke and have been appointed to the Fronde ELT, which has been formed to help the company execute its growth strategy. Besides the new appointments, Fronde's ELT will include its CEO, Australian country manager Don McLean, CFO Amish Vallabh, CMO David Roberts, and CTO James Valentine.

Clarke said the new appointments will help the company build on its Australasian success in delivering solutions and services.

“Our clients can expect to see Fronde accelerating investment in capability and solutions which enable them to break free of the constraints of legacy information technology and give them the tools they need to grow and thrive. For our all-important Fronde team, both present and future, they will see increased intensity of focus on enhancing the things that make Fronde different and great.”
