Australian mobile enterprise application platform (MEAP), BlinkMobile Interactive, has won a contract with Auckland Council through its relationship with Vodafone.
The agreement will see BlinkMobile utilised through platform-as-a-service (PaaS) model, with the telecommunications provider to roll out the technology.
BlinkMobile claims its enterprise mobility platform will enable the Council to mobilise information and services across the organisation on smartphones, tablets, and laptops.

The Auckland Council contract adds to an existing agreement with Brisbane City Council.
BlinkMobile did not reveal the value of the agreement.
