Z Energy and Xero have teamed up so Z Card customers can now sign up to have a copy of their invoice data transferred automatically to Xero.
Z is the first fuel retailer in New Zealand to provide this service to its customers.
Without having to manually enter data, a Z Card bill will show up in Xero ready to be coded and approved.
Lindis Jones, Z Energy commercial general manager, said the goal is to make customers’ lives easier.
“We know that time is really important to our customers and through partnering with Xero we can help them spend more time focussing on the things that really matter,” Jones said in a statement. “We think customers will appreciate saving time on doing administration each month, and the Z Card invoice feed into Xero won’t cost a cent.”
“Through our open API, we are creating new opportunities and saving Kiwi small businesses their most valuable asset – time,” said Victoria Crone, Xero NZ managing director.
“There is great potential for businesses, like Z, to interact with our more than 100,000 New Zealand customers,” Crone said.
