Kiwi firm takes top honours at Hitachi Data Systems ANZ Partner Awards

"We are delighted to recognise the exceptional work of these partners over the past 12 months."

Hitachi Data Systems Corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary of Hitachi, has today named Revera, a New Zealand supplier of utility computing infrastructure, as Partner of the Year in its inaugural Partner Awards.

The Awards coincide with the Hitachi Data Systems annual partner conference, held at The Sheraton, Noosa, and attended by representatives from across the channel community.

"We are delighted to recognise the exceptional work of these partners over the past 12 months," says Neil Evans, vice president and country manager, Hitachi Data Systems Australia, New Zealand and Pacific Islands.

"As data management becomes increasingly complex, partnerships between vendors and resellers must be as effective as possible to deliver true value for the end user.

"HDS recognises the power of the channel community as we continue to innovate to solve our customers' business challenges and look forward to expanding our awards program in years to come."

Recognising the company's top performing partners over the past year, the Hitachi Data Systems (HDS) Partner Awards acknowledges partners who demonstrated significant revenue growth and a commitment to delivering innovative storage solutions in collaboration with HDS.

The 4 category winners highlight the breadth of the HDS partner community and are:

"Following last year's partner conference, HDS reinvigorated its commitment to growing its relationships with the channel in Australia and New Zealand, which included the building on our Partner Awards program," adds Phillip Teague, director, industry and alliance solutions, Australia and New Zealand.

"In this time, we have seen growth of about 30 per cent.

"We would like to congratulate this year's recipients and thank them for their ongoing dedication to delivering innovative and competitive infrastructure and services that empower businesses to make better use of their data."

The HDS Partner Awards winners are part of the Hitachi TrueNorth Partner Program, which was designed to help partners integrate infrastructure, content and information with vertical industry applications to turn customer data into valuable business knowledge.

It supports them to grow their business, market reach and profitability through a number of training programs and tools.
