Wynyard Group has secured a contract with an international partner to help a leading national security bureau fight organised crime and counter terrorism.

Billed as one of the company's largest analytics deals, the value of the contract over the initial term is more than $3.2 million with approximately $2.5 million to be recognised in 2014.

The company previously advised that final contract execution and recognition of revenue from some of the larger contracts currently under negotiation may slip into early FY15 which creates a risk that it may not meet its previous FY14 revenue guidance range.

Wynyard says that this agreement "reduces but does not eliminate" the revenue timing risk outlined previously, with the company set to provide further updates as its 2014 Financial Statements are prepared and finalised.

Continuing the company’s planned expansion into the national security market and growth of its global partner program, Wynyard Group Chief Executive Officer, Craig Richardson, says this win reflects the confidence the world’s most demanding users have in Wynyard and the company’s advanced crime fighting software.

“This is an important customer with a growing problem - big data, a rapidly changing network of organised criminals and the need to rapidly surface actionable intelligence to help protect the country’s citizens and critical national infrastructure," he says.

Wynyard Group will partner with a recognised multi-national systems integrator to deliver this solution, although at present the company has refused to reveal its identity.
