Fronde has appointed two highly experienced principal consultants, based in both Auckland and Wellington as the technology firm continues its recruitment drive.
Joining the company’s Wellington team is Cheryl Chapman, who has 18 years’ experience in the technology sector, working for security specialists Optimation, Microsoft specialist and digital platform solutions company Intergen, Microsoft and HP.
Chapman’s most recent role was with IBM, where she worked with a team of specialists to deliver digital platform solutions to streamline, simplify and transform clients’ businesses.

“Fronde has invested into a portfolio of technologies and partnerships which we know can help clients digitally transform their business.
“We also know that some clients need help to understand strategically how they can achieve that and where Fronde can help them.
“I believe Cheryl will be an asset to our clients and Fronde in her ability to help clients shape their strategy and be successful.”
Also joining Fronde is Doug Johnstone - based in Auckland, Johnstone has 25 years’ experience in the technology sector with companies such as Unisys, EDS New Zealand, Gen-i and Spark Digital.
Johnstone spent more than six years at Gen-i in a series of increasingly senior roles, including Head of Delivery Practices and Head of Service Delivery, Franchise and Transitions for the company’s corporate client segment.
Johnstone’s most recent role, prior to joining Fronde, was at Spark Digital where he was responsible for the ongoing delivery of projects for the company’s enterprise clients.
“Doug is another very strong hire for Fronde,” Armstrong adds.
“He has a fantastic track record and a great leadership style that gets the best out of high performing teams.
