BlackBerry has completed the acquisition of Good Technology, as the ailing smartphone maker attempts to turn around its fortunes in the mobile enterprise space.
Terms of the deal will see BlackBerry integrate Good’s software solutions and services with its own software suites to secure the entire mobile enterprise, across all platforms and applications while protecting personal privacy.

Chen says BlackBerry and Good have “natural platform synergies” that will be integrated, offering the best of containerisation and enterprise mobility management (EMM).
Designed to leverage BlackBerry’s global network infrastructure, Chen says customers and partners can expect better managed migration options and integration with the combined platform.
