​Xero brings IBM veteran on board in double C-level hire

Xero has announced the new appointments of Rachael Powell as Chief People Officer and Kirsty Godfrey‐Billy as Chief Accounting Officer, reporting into Chief Financial Officer Sankar Narayan.

Based in Melbourne, Powell previously led the talent function for Zomato across Asia Pacific, as well as spending 12 years with IBM, leading and developing teams across Australia and New Zealand and launching ISV programs into the region.

Most recently a Partner at PwC, Godfrey‐Billy - also the founder of Taranaki Technology - will be based in Wellington to run the finance and accounting advocacy function at Xero.
