Kordia combines NZ and Australian management

Kordia Group has united its Australian and New Zealand management teams under group CEO Scott Bartlett

Government-owned IT services provider, Kordia Group has united its Australian and New Zealand management teams under group CEO, Scott Bartlett, previously CEO of the company’s New Zealand operations.

Bartlett was appointed CEO of Kordia New Zealand in 2013. Prior to that he was CEO of Orcon.

Kordia Group chair, Lorraine Witten, said that Bartlett's appointment has resulted “in the formation of a single group leadership team across Australasia with a more centralised management structure supported by decentralised decision making. It is the board’s intention to build an integrated and agile leadership team and business to take Kordia forward.”

She added: “Kordia has a huge number of opportunities across both New Zealand and Australia. The board believes that, through our trans-Tasman operations working together, we can maximise those opportunities. The recent successful integration of our New Zealand and Australian Maritime operations has demonstrated the power of this strategy.”

According to its Statement of Corporate Intent for 2017, Kordia Group comprises Kordia New Zealand, whose strategic focus is “on being New Zealand’s leading provider of business-critical networks and cyber security,” and Kordia Solutions Australia, “a trusted partner to our customers across many industries including telecommunications, mining and broadcasting.”

However the company lists its operating subsidiaries as Kordia Limited (Kordia New Zealand); Kordia Pty Limited and Kordia Solutions Pty Limited.
