McDonalds IT to resell Black Pearl email enhancement service

Black Pearl has developed what it claims to be a world first service that enables businesses to apply consistent email signatures, branding and marketing to their email messages regardless of what device the mail is sent from or read on

Wellington based IT services provider McDonalds IT is to resell email signature services from Black Pearl Mail as a value add to its cloud-based email service.

Black Pearl says the move means it is now “poised to build similar partnerships in Australia and North America.”

Black Pearl has developed what it claims to be a world first service that enables businesses to apply consistent email signatures, branding and marketing to their email messages regardless of what device the mail is sent from or read on. It offers the service for Google Apps, Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Exchange and POP/IMAP email services.

The service also comes with analytics that enable companies to see how many emails are send when emails are opened, and what links in html emails are clicked on.

According to Black Pearl CEO, Nick Lissette the appearance of email signatures on all company devices can be centrally controlled. “It enables businesses to quickly create and deploy stunning looking marketing emails, while getting valuable insight into customer engagement,” he said.

McDonalds IT managing director, Tony McDonald, said: “Consistent, good looking email signatures across all devices has been the one thing missing from cloud mail services for years.”
