Deloitte New Zealand has partnered with Dell Boomi to offer the Dell Boomi integration platform as a service (iPaaS) to New Zealand organisations.
According to Deloitte, it enables customers to integrate cloud and on-premises applications, data and people, ensuring easy, fast and secure enablement of processes through the one platform.
Deloitte partner Damian Harvey said the Boomi platform would enable Deloitte to support a broader range of customers working through the complexities of connecting different systems across different infrastructures and applications architectures.
"Additionally, products that integrate technologies through so-called ‘low code/no code’ processes can help drive faster time to value realisation for customers that need to focus on business outcomes rather than owning and developing code,” Harvey said.
He said Dell Boomi would sit alongside Deloitte’s platform engineering capabilities. "While many of these focus on code-rich platforms with DevOps, Boomi offers clients seeking a different approach: an elegant low-code solution.
"The addition of Boomi gives us significant added capability while allowing us to remain applications agnostic, providing guidance to our clients on the right product and solution mix for their unique needs.”
Dell Boomi managing director for Asia-Pacific and Japan, Michael Evans, said organisations were facing challenges managing increasingly complex digital transformations that included connecting new best of breed applications and existing business systems.
“Boomi offers a unique, cloud based and unified middleware platform comprising integration, master data management, API management and workflow automation that allows customers to build the enriched data services that will support their future business."
Dell Boomi booming in APAC
Earlier this year Dell Boomi was claiming triple digit growth in the Asia Pacific and Japan region on the back of what it said was an increase in hybrid cloud environments that required organisations to integrate cloud based and on-premises applications.
Evans said at the time that organisations understood the importance of integration, but traditional strategies for connecting systems had been unable to deliver on the needs of their digital operations.
“The organisations we speak with have already made significant progress with their cloud transformations, and require greater versatility than on-premises, API-only-based integrations can provide," he said.
