Damian Swaffield joins Oxygen

After a spell consulting, ex-TVNZ head joins SAP specialist

Damian Swaffield has joined SAP services provider Oxygen Business Solutions as New Zealand General Manager, Consulting.

Swaffield is the former GM of technology at TVNZ and has also held the role of IS general manager at SkyCity.

After leaving TVNZ in September 2009, he went consulting.

Oxygen CEO Mike Smith says in a statement announcing Swaffield's appointment:

“He has considerable expertise in managing very large and complex business transformation and IT related projects. He also has significant sales and business development experience gained during his time working at KPMG and as an independent consultant.

“He brings a strategic thinking approach to business issues, markets and technologies, which will provide customers with plenty of ideas on how they can best maximise the value and use of their SAP solutions.”

Oxygen has also appointed Datta Supomo as New Zealand business development manager. Previously, he was Oxygen’s Business Manager for Australian Government projects.

Oxygen's parent company, Australian utilities services specialist UXC, is for sale.
