Polycom appoints NZ manager

Huawei and Vodafone veteran takes role

Polycom has appointed Deane Jessep as New Zealand regional manager.

Jessep joins from Huawei, where he held the role of national enterprise solutions manager. He has also held roles at Vodafone and, before that, with several IT consulting companies.

In a statement announcing his appointment at Polycom, Jessep says: “New Zealand is entering a new era of convergence and connectivity, driven by national projects such as the Ultra Fast Broadband and Rural Broadband Initiative.

“I am looking forward to building on the great work achieved to date by working with local service providers, our channel partners, and customers to take the New Zealand business to the next level.”

Polycom will open an Auckland office in January.
