Quark has introduced Quark Publishing System 7, a new version of its collaborative workflow software based around its flagship desktop publishing software, QuarkXPress 7.

Quark Publishing System (QPS) 7 enables publishers to create and manage a digital document workflow, linking both editorial and creative systems around QuarkXPress.

QPS 7 features a new open standards-based architecture that can support an unlimited number of publications in one system. It features server-side scripting support, support for QuarkXPress 7 and QuarkCopyDesk 7, along with a multifunction client that lets users work with their own preferred Mac and Windows software applications. It also includes QPS Web Editor, which lets users write, edit and copy-fit text over the internet.
