Bos now has designs on health

Former Designer Technology general manager joins the Auckland District Health Board

Former Designer Technology general manager Joanne Bos has joined the Auckland District Health Board as ICT manager. In taking on an in-house role in the health sector, Bos has returned to a field she last worked in several years ago, as IS manager of healthAlliance, the shared services body of the Waitemata and Counties-Manukau District Health Boards.

After leaving healthAlliance, she worked first for Vodafone and then EDS, before joining Designer Technology last year. She has been replaced at Designer Technology by Ray Delany, who also has a background in health IT, having been CIO of the Waitemata District Health Board and group general manager of the NZ Heath Information Service. Delany was a management consultant immediately before taking on the Designer Technology chief executive role.
