Time’s running out if you fancy your chances of gaining recognition for your IT exploits of the past year.

Entries must be in by March 21 for the 2003 Computerworld Excellence Awards, which this year will be handed out in 14 categories. Two new categories in 2003 will recognise outstanding biotechnology and mobile workforce projects.

Two categories are by nomination only: CEO IT Vision and Most Significant Contribution to IT are intended to honour individuals and initiatives that have had a major impact on the IT landscape.

“With the IT sector somewhat in the doldrums at the moment, the awards could be a ray of sunshine on everyone’s horizon,” says organiser Anne Simpson.
