Dear What Am I Worth,

I am polytechnic student who is on a national diploma in business computing course, and living in the Wellington area. Basic skills include C, Visual Basic, Delphi, Java, Javascript and some Cobol. I have not worked in the IT industry before.

An entry level programming role will pay about $30,000 to $35,000 and you can expect to increase this on a yearly basis once you gain more commercial experience.
