Dear What Am I Worth,

I'm a Bachelor of Engineering, CNA (Certified Novell Administrator) and A+ certified with two years' IT experience in a 500-user network in a multi-platform environment.

My responsibilities include Novell Netware 5 administration, some NT 4 and Lotus Notes administration, desktop and application support, and delivery of IT projects such as software distribution using Novell ZENworks and NDS.

I'm working toward Novell's CNE and Cisco's CCNA. I also have some experience with Cisco routers and Linux. What would be the salary range I could expect?

Lacey Lee Recruitment replies: There is reasonably strong demand for your general skills, particularly as you have a good combination of tertiary and on-the-job training and experience. If you were working in either Wellington or Auckland your value would be somewhere between $50,000 and $70,000.
