Hautaki Trust appoints director

The Hautaki Trust has named Mavis Mullins to replace Bill Osborne as the trust’s director on the board of 2degrees.

Osborne stepped down earlier this month after 11 years in the role. He was responsible for negotiating spectrum with the government that the Hautaki Trust subsequently brought into the company that ultimately became 2degrees.

Mullins’ appointment appears to be a holding role. Trust spokesman Antony Royal says she will be there “for a period” and that there is likely to be a change of directors at the trust.
