F5 capitalises on regional growth with APAC hire

“Emmanuel is a highly experienced and effective sales executive who was a crucial contributor to the strong growth we have seen in EMEA."

F5 Networks has appointed Emmanuel Bonnassie as senior vice president, sales, for the Asia Pacific region, responsible for accelerating the growth of F5 business across 14 countries in the region.

Bringing more than 13 years of experience in technology sales and business development to the role, Bonnassie joined F5 in 2012, previously serving as the company’s vice president of sales for Northern and Eastern Europe.

“Emmanuel is a highly experienced and effective sales executive who was a crucial contributor to the strong growth we have seen in EMEA,” says Dave Feringa, executive vice president of worldwide sales, F5 Networks.

“We are tremendously pleased with his appointment and I’m confident Emmanuel will be able to accelerate our robust business in the region, as well as provide invaluable insight and solutions to our customers and partners.”

Before F5, Bonnassie, who is based in Singapore, was regional director and general manager of emerging markets for Europe, Middle East and Africa at Brocade.

“Growth in Internet users, web traffic, connected devices and applications in Asia Pacific continues to be phenomenal, and we’re seeing a rapid increase in adoption of security, mobility and cloud initiatives as a result,” Bonnassie adds.

“This is extremely exciting for F5, as we are ideally positioned to help customers reap maximum returns of their investment, and I am very eager to play a role in doing so here in Asia Pacific.”
