ARANZ Geo attracts "world-class" CFO as expansion continues

Christchurch-based ARANZ Geo, a key player in the geological data market has appointed Rohit Selvaratnam as Chief Financial Officer.

Selvaratnam has a strong commercial and strategic focus under-pinned by over 15 years’ senior experience in advisory and corporate roles in listed and private companies, in Australia, New Zealand, South Pacific and Asia.

Advising on over 30 M&A transactions, finance led capital projects and capital raising in New Zealand, North America and Asia, Selvaratnam has previously held key finance and strategy roles at Melbourne and Launceston Airports, Yellow Pages Group New Zealand and Telecom New Zealand.

Selvaratnam holds a Master of Business Administration (Finance) from the University of Wisconsin, USA and is a Fellow member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (London) and CPA Australia, he will be based at the ARANZ Geo’s headquarters and R&D Centre in Christchurch.
