Expansion continues as ex-Vodafone director joins Plan B as CCO

Plan B has appointed Grant Hopkins to the newly created role of Chief Commercial Officer, which will be focused on customer experience.

According to the disaster recovery specialists, Hopkins brings a wealth of business and telecommunications experience to the business with previous senior management roles at Vodafone and Unisys New Zealand.

During his most recent role, Hopkins was Enterprise Director at Vodafone where he was accountable for their New Zealand Enterprise business until late 2014.

“Grant has a proven track record in his previous roles and we believe he will be a great asset to our business and our current and future customers.”

Forrester says Hopkins is passionate about helping New Zealand businesses change to become more efficient and dynamic to be competitive on the global stage.

For Hopkins, technology is playing a major part in helping businesses be ready for anything.

“Plan B has been helping New Zealand businesses compete for a number of years by focusing on business continuity and disaster recovery,” Hopkins adds.

Hopkins officially joined the business on May 1 and will be accountable for all client relationships, sales and marketing activities.
