Wellington-based software company Solity Software has appointed Andrew Sirvid as its Chief Operating Officer.

At Solity, Sirvid will be responsible for managing the company's day-to-day operations and execution of the company’s growth strategy.

Sirvid has over 25 years’ experience in the ICT sector and, prior to joining Solity earlier this year as Manager of Professional Services and Technical Sales, held senior positions at Alcatel-Lucent and TelstraClear, now Vodafone.

Earlier in his career he had IT roles with Telecom, the Bank of New Zealand, Victoria University of Wellington (VUW), Statistics New Zealand and BERL. Andrew has a Bachelor of Commerce and Administration from VUW.

“Andrew joined Solity in July and has been instrumental in creating the platform that will enable the company to realise its growth ambitions,” says Israel Reyes, Managing Director, Solity.

“As we grow our customer base on the back of strategic partnerships with IT services companies, Andrew will ensure that Solity not only meets but exceeds our client’s expectations.”

Established in 2012 by Reyes, Solity develops cloud-based mobile software products for public and private sector businesses.

According to Reyes, Solity is currently engaging with a number of strategic partners to accelerate local and offshore, in Australia and South-East Asia, market penetration of its innovative software solutions.
