PowerbyProxi goes back to its roots with new CEO hire

PowerbyProxi has reappointed Fady Mishriki as Chief Executive Officer, stepping back into the role after originally serving as founding CEO for almost seven years previously.
Over the last two years, Mishriki has acted as Chief Tesla Officer (CTO) and Executive Vice President (EVP), with his new appointment signifying a renewed focus for the company on generating direct revenue for the business.
Following he reappointment, Mishriki comes full circle in the role after co-founding the company in 2007.
“Fady is a born leader and a true visionary for wireless power,” says Sandy Maier, Chairman of the Board, PowerbyProxi.
“He continues to be one of the most well-regarded identities in the industry today and we are delighted to be able to re-appoint him to the role of CEO to lead the company through some very exciting new developments.”
To date in 2015, Maier says PowerbyProxi has made “significant contributions” to the development of the Wireless Power Consortium’s future Qi wireless charging standard through advances in Resonant technology.
In addition, the company has developed many of the highest performing wireless power systems like the compact ARISO connector and Proxi-Point for harsh industrial environments.
