Fusion5 aims to dominate ANZ NetSuite market with BPR acquisition

BPR Solutions was established in 2002 and has offices in Auckland and Sydney

Auckland based business applications company, Fusion5, has announced the acquisition of BPR Solutions, one of the first NetSuite certified solution partners in Australasia, saying the move will enable it to “dominate the NetSuite space in both New Zealand and Australia.”

Rebecca Tohill, Fusion5’s CEO for Australia and New Zealand, said the acquisition was in response to the success of NetSuite in the market and the widespread move to cloud for enterprise applications, and would give Fusion5 the critical mass essential to substantially growing its NetSuite capabilities.

BPR Solutions was established in 2002 and has offices in Auckland and Sydney. Owner and founder, Simon Ede, will joint Fusion5 as a senior executive focussed on developing Fusion5 NetSuite sales.

Fusion5 said the acquisition had increased its NetSuite team to close to 30 people and added more than 30 NetSuite clients, split evenly across New Zealand and Australia. New customers include SurfStitch, Venerdi, Digital Video Technologies, Aotea Machinery and Phoenix Distribution.

Tohill said: “As well as their deep knowledge of core NetSuite, [Simon and his team] have expertise in areas we haven’t made headway into yet. BPR also brings across a number of innovative NetSuite add-on solutions to add to our growing portfolio of IP vertical solutions.”

BPR is Fusion5’s second major acquisition already this year. In February 2016 Fusion5 acquired the Microsoft Dynamics CRM and SharePoint practices of Koorb Consulting. The company now claims to have over 700 customers and 280 staff across nine offices.
