US-based MapAnything, a provider of mapping, geo-analytics and location services for users of Salesforce, has moved into the ANZ market with the opening of an office in Sydney and the appointment of Glenn Aspden as managing director of Australia and New Zealand.

Aspden joins MapAnything from at NewVoiceMedia, a telephony provider for Salesforce users, where he was vice president of services for APAC.

The company's product, also named MapAnything, provides mapping, schedule planning, route optimisation, real time geo-location, territory management, geo-analytics and is claimed to give Salesforce users “an interactive map-centric experience.”

The Sydney office will be the fourth for MapAnything. The North Carolina-headquartered company already has offices in Atlanta and London.

The company was founded in 2009 and claims more than 1000 customers globally, “ranging in all sizes and industries from small businesses to international enterprises.” It offers its mapping and geo-analytics software through the Salesforce AppExchange and has been named a “Customer’s Choice – Highly Reviewed App” by Salesforce users.
