Invio Software Inc. is expected to announce next week at Storage Decisions in New York enhancements to software that lets administrators automate their storage processes.
Among the enhancements to Storage Practice Foundry is the ability for IT departments and service organizations to customize best storage practices for their environments. Storage Practice Foundry processes are executed and managed through the company's Storage Practice Manager.
With Storage Practice Foundry, users can create processes to automate, integrate existing data center scripts and create interfaces that extend automation and control to software and hardware devices in the infrastructure.
Storage Practice Foundry 2.0 is expected to be available in May, starting at US$5,000 per developer or IT administrator.
