A long-term contract between the Bank of New Zealand and Vodafone has been extended by six years.
The telecommunications master services agreement was first signed in 2002. It covers network and related services, calling, security services, customer contact centre, enterprise video and voice services, managed services and professional services.
Vodafone chief executive Russell Stanners describes it as a milestone partnership. “There are very few major organisations that have developed the mutual trust and expertise to work together so productively for so long.”
He says that TelstraClear and Vodafone will add significant value to BNZ’s business, especially in the areas of network operations, security and contact centre expertise.
“Both TelstraClear and Vodafone have been strong in these areas, and the combined company is now a force to be reckoned with. We are making major investments in tools, processes, people and infrastructure that BNZ will take advantage of.”
