Kordia upgrades core network

Capacity boosted ten times

Juniper Networks has completed an upgrade of Kordia's core network to 10Gbit/s.

Kordia has deployed Juniper Network’s MX480 Ethernet Services routers to support the variety of processing and scaling demands as a result of increased traffic. The routers will carry voice and data traffic and ensure Kordia can meet demands for capacity, as well as transporting video traffic to deliver television and radio programming into homes. It will also support broadcast services throughout the country. “The solution enables us to satisfy critical applications at the edge, including voice, video and data,” says Steve Roberts, Kordia’s business manager for national network services.
