Oracle Australia MD resigns

Replacement picked from within

Oracle Australia managing director Leigh Warren has resigned, citing personal reasons.

His replacement is Ian White, currently Oracle's general manager for South Australia, Western Australia and the Northern Territory.

Warren's resignation comes shortly before Oracle president Charles Phillips and senior vice president for application development John Wookey arrive in Australia for a visit that will detail Oracle's Project Fusion, the integration of the PeopleSoft applications it acquired last year, and other matters.

White officially takes up the position on July 1.
