Auckland-based publisher Fairfax Business Media was knocked offline after a file server crashed as the organisation shifted offices in Auckland.
The company’s web sites were offline over the weekend and internal systems were also disrupted. However, after the server was rebuilt overnight Monday, the company’s web sites (Computerworld, PC World, CIO and Reseller News among others) were up and running and internal systems were also restored.
Country manager Patricia Watson says staff worked through the night to get things back on track and no further disruptions are expected.
