Kiwi ICT consultancy firm expands into South Island

The move makes Theta a “truly national company” with offices in Christchurch, Wellington and Auckland.

ICT consultancy Theta has recently opened a new office in Christchurch, signalling a strong commitment to its growing South Island customer base.

According to the company, the Sheffield Crescent premises will become a permanent hub for South Island operations.

At present, Theta already works with many organisations in this region - including Fulton Hogan, SCIRT, AuCom Electronics, Synlait, Invacare, and the Otago Regional Council – designing, delivering and supporting business intelligence, software, systems management and ERP solutions.

“This is a positive and logical next step for us,” says Brent Wilkinson, National Business Development Manager, Theta.

“We already have many customers in the South Island, and spend a lot of time in Christchurch. It’s great to now have a local team and office to support our work in this region.”

But according to Wilkinson, it goes further than that.

“Our approach to working with customers is very much one of partnership,” he adds. “And real partnership is much easier to achieve when you’re on the ground, available, and understand the local market.”

For Wilkinson the move means Theta is now established as a “truly national company” with offices in Christchurch, Wellington and Auckland.
